Just a little bit outside of the ABA area, but it's worth noting that there is a Taiga Flycatcher in Baja California Sur right now. Only the third North American record away from far Western Alaska.

My most needed photo target is Western Screech-Owl. 43 observations on ebird (plus a ton that I haven't ebirded), and I've never managed more than a glimpse of one flying away. I also don't have any pictures of Least Bittern, which is also pretty bad.

Photo analysis has shown that this is 100% the same bird as the Bodega Bay bird. It's molting the same secondaries/primaries.Greyhawk wrote: Sat Jan 24, 2026 9:54 am Waved Albatross off Piedras Blancas, CA. Probably the same bird from Bodega Bay last October.
