Help with a background bird

Need help identifying a bird? Please post your question here and if possible include a photo. Also let us know where and when you saw the bird. Other things that help are listing any field marks that stood out, behavioral information like how it walked, hopped or flew. This Forum is just for North American birds.

Help with a background bird

Last weekend I was hiking outside of Vail, CO and shooting a yellow-rumped warbler. I noticed in two of the shots a bird in the background. Not the best pics since I wasn't focusing on it but hoping somebody might be able to tell what it is. Thanks!

Agree - Vail is comfortably outside the range of Eastern Warbling (east border of Colorado).

Thanks. That's a new one for me. I feel kind of guilty counting it. Obviously I saw it, but I was much more focused on the Warbler at the time....
