Want to confirm American Dipper

Need help identifying a bird? Please post your question here and if possible include a photo. Also let us know where and when you saw the bird. Pretty sure I got my first American Dipper today hunting in the eponymous Beaver Creek in CO.

I'm pretty widely read and seldom see a word in the English language I don't know, you made me hit the search engines for 'eponymous'. 8-)

I classed an American dipper in New Mexico last winter but missed it....
Never been in their range in season.
