Need help identifying a bird? Please post your question here and if possible include a photo. Also let us know where and when you saw the bird. Other things that help are listing any field marks that stood out, behavioral information like how it walked, hopped or flew. This Forum is just for North American birds.
Got a chance to try my hand at Aidan's wonderful Empid guide. Still not confident with my IDs. I'm most confident on the third one which I believe is Western. I've seen a few of those and the teardrop eye seems to be the giveaway on them. The other two the eye ring doesn't seem as pronounced/teardrop so I'm thinking they're different maybe Hammond's or Western-Wood Pewee?
