Juncos & Wren?

Need help identifying a bird? Please post your question here and if possible include a photo. Also let us know where and when you saw the bird. Other things that help are listing any field marks that stood out, behavioral information like how it walked, hopped or flew. This Forum is just for North American birds.

Juncos & Wren?

Post by MtnAg08 »

Also saw these two on my hike today in Beaver Creek, CO. The wrens I assume are Northern House but they seemed smaller than what I've seen here lately so want to double check they aren't a different type. The sparrow/junco looking ones were around a bunch of Dark-Eyed Juncos but these seemed to have a different pattern to them. Also the beak seems a little bigger.
