What Bird Is That Forum

I used to do the ebird quizzes when I started birding and found them a good learning tool, didn't do them for a few years, then again when I went to Honduras. So that's 2019-2023, and they worked fine, some time since then they never will load... Either just spinning forever or eventually replying with an error. Does anyone else have this issue? I don't think it's me, I've tried multiple devices, internet is good, etc.

I say never, one time one loaded after numerus attempts.

Works here. Takes a moment to load sometimes.

I use this several times a month. It's working as usual for me this afternoon.

Exact same setting, browser, etc, and Brunswick County NC works. How ever the exact same conditions except changing to Palo Pinto Co. TX. TX. or the USA and nothing works....

Okay that's just weird other counties are working, and other states are working....

Okay Texas finally did work after several attempts still not luck with Palo Pinto County or the entire country.

Palo Pinto works fine here, but I get an error message if I try the entire United States.

I hadn't tried the game in ages so I ran a few tests using different settings. I'm not sure it'll help but I'll share my results. I started with Texas for location, year round, likely birds, using photos, game loaded as expected, scored 14/20. I tried broadening the range to the United States but after spinning for a minute or two, I got a message saying it couldn't load that choice, try a different time or location. I tried Canada next but I gave up after 6 minutes of spinning and spinning. Last test was for Ontario and it loaded in under a minute, scored 9/20. Looks to me like it works better with smaller areas than bigger ones. Try tightening up the region to different States or even tighter using specific places or cities, it might make a difference. Good luck.

Edit I guess i should have reloaded the page after playing around with the quizzes.

It loaded for me too as expected this morning.
