One Warbler? and Sadly one dead bird I can't ID

Need help identifying a bird? Please post your question here and if possible include a photo. Also let us know where and when you saw the bird. One Warbler? and Sadly one dead bird I can't ID

Post by loonswan »

Both birds seen 5/20 in Orono,MN
Difficult to get a pic of what I believe is a warbler, sorry,it's the only shot I could get,not clear.
I just have no idea what the dead bird is,on a very little use small road next to a pond ,maybe hit by car,but road is closed 90% of the time to cars.
Has green legs and some white speckles/ spot on chest.

The warbler, I'm not sure of, but I think it is a Canada Warbler.

The deceased bird is a Sora.
