Warblers

Need help identifying a bird? Please post your question here and if possible include a photo. Also let us know where and when you saw the bird. Other things that help are listing any field marks that stood out, behavioral information like how it walked, hopped or flew. This Forum is just for North American birds.

Warblers

Post by Kansabirdguy »

These are all from yesterday in Riley county ks
Most of these are separate birds but besides the first recording I suspect they’re the same species https://ebird.org/checklist/S342618996

Sadly I only get a few warblers a year here, so I can't really help on audio.
My book knowledge on visual is pretty decent except for sandpipers and gulls...Never did put in the time to learn them, really should.... But I don't know any audio other than bird I see here in Texas on a reasonably frequent schedule. :?

Excuse the stupid question but how do you know these songs came from warblers? If you were able to see the birds, could you add some physical description to this thread?

Thanks.

Sandpipers and other shorebirds are driving me nuts (and that's a short drive ;) )

Most of them are Parulas/Tennessee Warblers. Can't really separate those species by call.
