Checking on 3 birds from Louisville
Checking on 3 birds from Louisville
I was in Louisville over the weekend. Unfortunately didn't get an opportunity to really go looking for birds like I was hoping but did see three I'm hoping to get confirmation on. I'm 99% sure the third one is a Mourning Dove (1st time seeing one since starting so just looking for confirmation). The 2nd one looks a lot like a Robin in the face but the body isn't the correct color so wondering if it's an odd morph? First one I think is a cliff swallow but again 1st time seeing one so hoping for confirmation. Thanks for all yalls help.

You have all three of them identified correctly. The Robin is a juvenile.

Thanks. The robin had me really thrown off as the face was spot on but I'd only ever seen mature ones with the normal red breast. I almost wondered if it was diseased or something. Glad to know it wasn't.lonesome55dove wrote: Fri May 29, 2026 1:25 am You have all three of them identified correctly. The Robin is a juvenile.
